LIMA, 08 Ago. 08 / 08:05 am (ACI).- Aunque la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) ya zanjó el tema y cerró la posibilidad de "reglamentar" el aborto terapéutico en Perú, la congresista oficialista Hilda Guevara ha convocado a un foro en el Parlamento para impulsar esta práctica como "derecho" de las mujeres.Acompañada por la polémica congresista del Partido Nacionalista Margarita Sucari –actualmente investigada por recortar irregularmente el salario a una de sus ex trabajadoras– Guevara pretendería reabrir el debate sobre el aborto terapéutico, usado ahora como caballo de batalla por los principales grupos abortistas.
El foro se titula "El Aborto Terapéutico en el Perú: Un Derecho de las Mujeres" y se realizará en la Sala Miguel Grau del Congreso de la República este lunes 11 de agosto de 9:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m. El ingreso es libre.
Según declaró a ACI Prensa, Rosa Reyna, asesora de prensa de la congresista Guevara, "no estamos enterados de que el tema del protocolo de aborto terapéutico sea un tema cerrado" y como "presidenta de la mesa de mujeres parlamentarias, la congresista Hilda Guevara está abriendo este espacio de dialogo a fin de que todas las partes dialoguen y vean cual es la verdadera situación".
Reyna insistió en que "el aborto terapéutico es un derecho de las mujeres y el Código Penal lo estipula así. Pero siempre y cuando la vida de la madre peligre por un embarazo difícil. La idea es facilitar a las mujeres que no tienen conocimientos el acceso al aborto terapéutico en los hospitales del Estado para que no opten por los abortos clandestinos que les ocasionan la muerte".
Carlos Polo, Director para América Latina del Population Research Institute (PRI), consideró que "la congresista Guevara necesita asesorarse mejor en este tema y creo que la están sorprendiendo. En este momento está prestando oídos a feministas radicales como Promsex que no tienen ningún reparo para promover el aborto como un derecho y que solo utilizan esta figura del ‘aborto terapéutico’ como un primer paso en su estrategia".
"Estas feministas tampoco le deben haber informado que no ha sido una sino dos veces que la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros ha cerrado el debate. Además, despenalizar el aborto no es política de gobierno del partido al que Guevara pertenece y no se puede reglamentar un delito. Eso es algo que los estudiantes de derecho aprenden en los cursos básicos de Derecho Penal".
"Ojalá que Guevara tenga los oídos abiertos para entender que ésta es una causa impopular y políticamente perdida", agregó y alentó a los ciudadanos a manifestar su opinión sobre el mencionado foro a la dirección electrónica de la parlamentaria organizadora: hguevara@congreso.gob.pe
